We had a lot of dedicated volunteers within the last month helping SUSTAIN the Red River by picking up and removing hundreds of pounds of trash!
*We had a great time celebrating National Public Lands Day with Minnesota Extension. A group of volunteers cleaned up trash in downtown Moorhead near the river and collected over 100 pounds of trash!
*Shout out to U.S. Bank who organized volunteers to cover around a half a dozen different stretches near the Red River and along drainage ditches in September!
*We had a beautiful night last night for our Monthly Volunteer Series event! Volunteers picked up around 16 pounds of trash at Dike East in Fargo.
Thank you to everyone who comes together for this effort. The community is so kind. Volunteers often get thanked by trail users while they are out and our volunteers appreciate it!
We still have some great days ahead to schedule cleanups! Learn more and signup today here: riverkeepers.org/adopt or by contacting Kim at Kimberly@riverkeepers.org or 701.356.8915.
