When: August (National Fishing Month!)
Where: Red River of the North between Cass 22/Clay 26 and Cass 16/Clay 8
Entry Fee: FREE
How it Works:
- Catch any species of fish in the Red River during August 2026.
- Take a picture of yourself with the fish AND the Red River in the background.
- Email the picture to christine@riverkeepers.org with your contact information.
- Enter up to 5 times with 5 DIFFERENT species.
- Entrants consent that their image may be used for promotional use without notice.
Prizes:
- First 10 individuals entered will receive River Keepers’ “Relaxed Anglers Guide to Catfishing on the Red River of the North” book.
- Each entry will be in a drawing to win:
- 7ft MH casting catfishing rod by Olson Custom Rods
- Half day catfishing trip for three people with Tally’s Trophy Fishing Charter chasing down trophy catfish on the Red River in Fargo-Moorhead. Valued at $350.
- One of six packages which includes a $50 Scheels gift card, and a one year membership to River Keepers and F-M Walleyes! Limit one per person.
