We can’t wait to once again offer a fun, interactive and educational field trip for our local fourth graders during the Red River Water Festival. Join our team of volunteers who make this event happen! We have a lot of spots to fill!
Dates: September 20-23, 26-27
Lead an activity or be an activity assistant for our presenters. We have interactive fun activities to teach 4th graders about the importance of water (possible topics include water properties, wetlands, fish, conservation, quality, history, etc.)
September 20-22 from 8:45 – 11 am and 11:45 – 2 p.m. (20 volunteer openings per day)
September 23, 26-27. Morning shift only from 8:45 – 11 am (10 volunteer openings per day)
Timers: Give signals to our presenters to let them know it is time to rotate classrooms.
September 20-22 from 9 – 11 am and 12 – 2 p.m. (6 volunteer openings per day)
September 23, 26-27. Morning shift only from 9 – 11 a.m. (3 volunteer openings per day)
Take down: Take down outdoor canopies on Tuesday, September 27 at 11 a.m. (2 volunteer openings)
