A leisurely paced group paddle with local experts sharing their knowledge of the Red River. All skill levels are welcome.
* Birds of the Red River on May 19 led by FM Audubon Chapter. * History of the Red River on June 16 and August 4 led by Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County
* Animals of the Red River on July 21 led by the Red River Zoo
* Trees of the Red River on August 18 led by Moorhead Forestry Department.
In the case of inclement weather, all programs will be rescheduled for the following Wednesday.
Each excursion begins at 6:00 p.m. with basics of canoeing, kayaking and safety. Please arrive by 5:30 p.m. to sign in and get your equipment (life jackets, paddles and vessels) ready to hit the water.
$10 per person if you are providing your own vessel, $15 per person if needing canoe or kayak rental (available on a first come, first serve basis), ages 5 and under free.
