Paddle on the Red River without transporting your own vessel. The Rental Shack is located in the parking lot of the Hjemkomst Center. Hours of Operation: May 26 - September 1 Tuesdays: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturdays: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sundays: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Individual Rentals: Single and tandem kayaks and canoes are available on a first come first served basis. Rentals include paddles and personal flotation devices, which must be worn at all times. Cost: Rent a canoe or kayak for $10/hour/vessel. After the first hour, the rate is prorated depending on how long the vessel is out on the water. Group Rentals: To rent 5 or more vessels, call 218.299.5296 at least seven business days in advance.
