Olivia Kehn is one of our two interns this summer that we are excited to work with. Here is an introduction from Olivia and what she is working on this summer: “I am originally from Golden Valley MN and am currently a senior at The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, studying Biology and Pre professional health. I am looking forward to connecting with the Fargo-Moorhead community. I am also looking forward to supporting River Keepers mission while learning more about environmental sustainability, conservation and safety related to the Red River. I will be assisting with the Resilient Yard Series Workshop and various community events.”
This summer, we’re happy to have Dee Merriman on our team as a media intern! Originally from Brookings, South Dakota, Dee has always had a love for the outdoors and is excited to be giving back to the community and the environment. They are a rising senior at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, studying psychology and digital media. They are looking forward to doing event photography and videography for River Keepers, as well as storytelling and learning about nonprofit work. They hope to hone their skills in media creation and learn skills relevant to community engagement, stewardship, and education.
